| High Meadows offers the Edwardian elegance of a gentleman's
residence, the house having been built for a local doctor during the
early 19th century.

Much of the house decoration and furnishings have been inspired by the
"Arts & Crafts" movement and has remained faithful to
its ancestry, exuding authenticity of the period.
With the rooms featuring fabrics and designs by William Morris who believed
you should "have nothing in your house which you do not know to
be useful or believe to be beautiful"
